L'Alpette Megeve France

L'Alpette
Megeve

L'Alpette

L'Alpette, fantastic. The only word that describes it all. The arrival was easy, not complicated and luxurious. The staff were lovely greeting us and then took us to where we were sitting. The space was a little cramped, so thats something to work on, yeh but um otherwise I LOVED it. There was no Fanta but I will reset those marks down by the food. The food, absolutely amazing, fantastic and flavoured. Nothing you would want more. The steak, mmmm yummy! medium and to perfection. This has been awarded the restaurant of the week. For a restaurant to be awarded this, they must cook to perfection. This is what has been shown today. Here are some comments from the people who have shared my experience.

From these comments you may or may not agree more! The food was absolutely FANTASTIC and has achieved my full compliments. It absolutely deserves a michiline star and restaurant of the week. So now for the ratings. The place was amazing the food was amazing, it could have been more spaced out so L'Alpette gets a high 9.5/10 and *****/5 stars for food. Well done to the chefs and staff who have really pulled out there best work for me. Thank You.

L'Ideal Restaurant, Mègeve, France

L'Ideal Restaurant
Megeve

L'Ideal Restaurant is a lovely but complicated place. When we arrived we were only allowed to put our skiis outside the bar which was not convenient for me personally. Then we came in. Lovely decorative place. While we were waiting to be served we had to decide what to eat. When the lady/waitress came we ordered and were waiting waiting waiting for food I played mini dash 89 times! And that's a lot! Finally the food had come I tasted the chips. Disappointed. Then I tasted the nuggets a definite improvement. Tender and soft, just to my liking! I also found on my plate a kinder egg! I was very pleased but would have liked some cadburys instead. Here are some views of the people who shared my experience.

Eliza Eastwood🙅💁🙋: despite what helena thinks, the restaurant👌👍👐👏 was delicious and I had a 🐥yummy 🐥lunch 🍴🍔. Also like the layout.

J Unit: I did love this restaurant but helena was a bit annoying. Next time I would prefer to be in the'Helena free section'... 👌

I am a bit sideways with these comments as I completely disagree with some of the sentences included. Most of the experience was very lovely I agree, but some of the food just didn't live up to what they are really meant to be tasted  like. I will confess the nuggets were very tasty I have eaten all of them and if I come back again that's what I will order! This restaurant gets a 7.8/10 and a ***/5 I thank all the members of staff who were very inviting, courageous and nice but I still need some Fanta!

La Raviere Restaurant, France, Megev, Bettex

La Raviere
Food Review

At La Raviere I have experienced a different culinary Experience Small but sweet. It was also a bit like eating in someone's living room. The staff are hard working but could bring things faster. An example is when I asked for butter and it never came. The kitchen could also be a bit less closer to the entrance as it blocks the entrance to the restaurant. The food was excellent for me but I do not know about the others. Here are some comments;

Catriona Yates: Charming alpine restaurant off the beaten track . Small menu but then it is a small kitchen!  such a small kitchen which has-produced some delicious food for our party of ten.

Jeremy Bizzle: I like the ham but definitely could have done with a chocolate milkshake. Mmmmm. Chocolate milkshake.

Back to me I have got some more bad points. There could be more children's food as children who come might like other options. I was shocked to find no milkshakes for me and I also was very disappointed with the no medium rare steak and chips option. It is a lovely adult restaurant but not so child friendly. I will give this restaurant a 6/10
**stars for me. From a child's view I am not to pleased, but a lovely efforting and persevering team.
